Planning 5 Days in Myrtle Beach Next Summer?

Now that the winter is quickly approaching, many of us are bundling up and preparing for the cold months to come. But, if a trip to Myrtle Beach is planned for the summer of 2022, you may already be daydreaming of all of the fun things to do. However, you may be overwhelmed in some cases since the Myrtle Beach area has so many unique activities available that it can be hard to narrow it down. But don’t worry, we have made it easy by highlighting five things that need to be on your list of Myrtle Beach things to do.

Add These 5 Things to Your List of Myrtle Beach Things to Do

If you are planning a trip to Myrtle Beach next summer, be sure to add these five things to your list of things to do.

1. Pay a visit to the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel

One of our favorite things to do in Myrtle Beach is a trip on the SkyWheel. This is a great activity for the beginning of your trip as it gives you great views of the area. And if you are unfamiliar with the SkyWheel, this 187-foot-tall observation wheel opened back in May 2011. It is now the sixth-tallest Ferris wheel in the United States and offers stunning views. We’ll let you in on a secret too. If you are planning to pop the question in Myrtle Beach, the SkyWheel is a great option.

2. Enjoy some amazing seafood

Myrtle Beach has so many fantastic seafood establishments that you won’t run short of places to try. Whether you want to drool over fish, shrimp, crab, or oysters, you won’t be disappointed. And if you are wondering about the best seafood restaurants in Myrtle Beach, we’re here to tell you that you can’t go wrong. That said, some of our favorites include Austin’s Ocean One, Hook & Barrel, and Captain George’s Seafood Restaurant.

3. Get your adrenaline rush

If you are an adrenaline junkie, there are plenty of options for you in Myrtle Beach. Add a parasailing adventure to your list of things to do and fly high in the sky during ten to 12 minutes of airtime. Before your flight, we’ll cover off on what you need to know about parasailing in Myrtle Beach. The team at Crazy Sister Marina follows all local laws and regulations and takes your adventure seriously. We’ll take the time to get to know you, and you might even get lucky and encounter some wildlife along the way. If you’re not into heights, try a jet skiing adventure instead.

4. Get your fish on

Myrtle Beach is well known for its fishing. Whether you want to experience a fishing adventure on our head boat with others or you want to try a private charter, you’ll be sure to have a great time trying your hand at catching vs. fishing. If conditions are right, you may get to reel in Redfish, Tarpon, sharks, Black Drum, Flounder, or Sea Trout, to name a few. Though during the summer months, know that we tend to focus on catching Tarpon and big Redfish.

5. Fore!

Myrtle Beach boasts over 80 stunning golf courses. So, whether you are a want-to-be professional golfer or want to take some golfing lessons during your visit to the Murrells Inlet area, you won’t be disappointed. Prices and availability vary depending on the course and advance reservations are always recommended.
