Whether you’re looking to reel in your next big catch or simply relax and enjoy the beautiful South Carolina coast, here’s everything happening this week at Crazy Sister Marina.
This week’s Head Boat Fishing Trips
Monday – 4 ½ Hour Half Day “Sea Bass” Fishing & 4 Hour “Shark” Fishing
Tuesday – 4 ½ Hour Half Day “Sea Bass” Fishing & 4 Hour “Shark” Fishing
Wednesday – 8 Hour “Continental Shelf” Fishing
Thursday – 4 ½ Hour Half Day “Sea Bass” Fishing & 4 Hour “Shark” Fishing
Friday – 4 ½ Hour Half Day “Sea Bass” Fishing & 11 Hour “Gulf Stream” Deep Sea Fishing
Saturday – 4 ½ Hour Half Day “Sea Bass” Fishing
Sunday – 11 Hour “Gulf Stream” Deep Sea Fishing
All trips are available weather permitting! Our Head Boat trips are always a great option for newbies and seasoned anglers alike. All trips provide everything needed to fish, rod, reel, bait, tackle, and licensing are included, and fishing cleaning services are available. Summer fishing trips are among the most popular activities at Crazy Sister Marina; advance reservations are always highly recommended.

Private Charters Available this week too!
We have a fleet of private charters offering anywhere from inshore / nearshore fishing, and trips that can take you all the way out to the Gulf Stream to fish.
The ‘Reel Crazy’ can fish up to 6 passengers, fishing 4 hours, 5 hours, or 6 hours. This trip offers trolling for Spanish and King Mackerel, and bottom fishing for Drum, Sharks, Black Sea Bass, Redfish & Spadefish. If you prefer to stay a little closer in, we can drop a line at the jetties or stay in the creek for Flounder, Sheepshead, Trout & Drum.
The ‘It’s a Write-Off’ can also fish up to 6 passengers, fishing for 4 hours, 6 hours, 8 hours, or 11 hours. Offshore trolling towards the Gulf we fish along temperature breaks, weedlines, and bait schools to target mahi, tuna, king mackerel, and wahoo. When we switch to bottom fishing, we drop baits onto reefs, ledges, and wrecks that hold snapper, grouper, triggerfish, amberjack, and other powerful reef species. The shorter trips will produce similar species listed in the ‘Reel Crazy’
The ‘Party Time’ can hold up to 20 passengers for a private charter and comfortably fish 12 people at a time. We fish on this vessel for 5.5 hours, 6 hours, 9 hours, or 12 hours. The 6-hour trip specializes in shark fishing, hitting Blacktip Sharks, Sandbar Sharks, Atlantic Sharpnose Sharks, Bonnethead Sharks & More. The longer trips we will troll for King Mackerel, Cobia, Bonita, Barracuda, Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, & Wahoo. Bottom fishing gets us on the Snapper, Grouper, Triggerfish, Amberjack, Sea Bass & More!

Boat Rentals
From pontoon rentals for a larger group to Carolina skiffs to sneak into the creeks, there’s a boat for everyone. Pontoons are perfect for sightseeing, relaxing, anchoring up at the beach to get out and swim. It’s a great comfortable option for the family! Skiffs give you the freedom to discover areas that larger boats can’t reach. Great for fishing, we can rent you gear with the rental to get out and enjoy a true Lowcountry adventure.

Kayak Rentals
Kayak rentals provide an up-close look at Murrells Inlet’s incredible ecosystem.
Crazy Sister Marina offers kayak rentals or guided tours! You can rent and take the trip yourself at your own pace or go out with one of our guides to get more information on the area you’re paddling through. Keep your eyes open for local wildlife, including herons, egrets, fish, and more, you never know! Kayaking offers one of the most immersive ways to experience the natural beauty of the South Carolina coast.

Check out our Dolphin & Sealife Cruise this week!
Our Dolphin & Sealife cruise is a great family-friendly activity that takes you through the inlet to the ocean on the search for local wildlife! While cruising, our mates will teach you about the area and local marine life that call the area home. Our live onboard touch tank gives everyone a chance to get up close and personal with the possibility of local critters like crabs, starfish, jellyfish, pufferfish, sea urchins, and more! The touch tank is never the same from one cruise to the next, so you never know who you’ll get to meet! Once in the ocean, we will search for dolphins as we travel along the coast, so keep your eyes and ears open, you never know where they’ll pop up out of or what other creature you might see floating along nearby. After our time in the ocean, we’ll head back into the inlet to return to the dock, you can sit back, relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery!
We run cruises in the daytime hours and at sunset! There are options to fit into anyone’s vacation schedule.

Set Sail on a Pirate Adventure for a more Kid-centric water activity!
The Children’s Pirate Adventure has been a long-standing Murrells Inlet favorite among visiting tourists and local families alike! A place where children come to experience the magic of sailing away in search of sunken treasure onboard our pirate ship, the Sea Gypsy. Young pirates will enjoy an interactive experience complete with face-painting, pirate training, water cannon battles, and plenty of excitement.
Parents get to sit back and relax in the shade of the boat and watch the kiddos’ imaginations come alive; the whole family will leave with stories to talk about long after the trip ends.

At Crazy Sister Marina, we have an Ocean Sunset Dolphin & Sealife Cruise, an Inlet Sunset Cruise, and a Children’s Pirate Sunset Adventure! Something for everyone! We run these trips every night of the week, weather permitting, so you have the chance to fit something into your vacation schedule.
Our Ocean Sunset Dolphin & Sealife Cruise is a 75-minute cruise that traverses thru the inlet, out into the ocean, on the hunt for dolphins while also enjoying a gorgeous Murrells Inlet Sunset. Our Inlet Sunset Cruise is a 60-minute cruise for those looking for a boat ride that doesn’t go out into the ocean. We will take the boat up to the mouth of the ocean to sneak a peek out to the Atlantic, then ride back through the inlet watching the colors of the sunset reflect off the water. Lastly, our Children’s Pirate Sunset Adventure is exactly what it sounds like! Have the same type of fun you would have with your kids on our daytime Children’s Pirates Adventure while enjoying the sunset views! This cruise will keep you in the inlet, while searching for treasure, fighting bad guys, and learning how to live the pirate life!
