Crazy Sister Marina’s July 4th Week Guide to Fun on the Water (June 29th – July 5th)
We have a busy holiday week coming up at Crazy Sister Marina! Check out what featured activities we have going on this week, and come celebrate America’s 250th anniversary of our freedom this July the 4th. From dolphin cruises, and boat rentals, fireworks cruises on the night of the 4th, a full moon cruise, and family friendly fishing excursions for the whole squad, we have fun things for everyone going on this week!
Limited availability this week for the Strawberry Full Moon Sunset Cruise
This Monday, June the 29th, we are going to have a Strawberry full moon! The name might fool you slightly, the moon will not appear pink, but the name “Strawberry Moon” comes from Native American Algonquin tribes, who used it to mark the ripening of wild strawberries in June, an important early-season food. The Full Moon Cruise we offer is also a mix of a Ghost Story Cruise, where you will learn about local legends and lore of the Murrells Inlet area. Sit back and relax as you take in stunning views of the estuary, the full moon, and enjoy delicious beer and wine from our onboard bar and learn about the ghostly lore of the South Carolina coast!

Monday – 4 ½ Hour Half Day “Sea Bass” Fishing & 4 Hour “Shark” Fishing
Tuesday – 4 ½ Hour Half Day “Sea Bass” Fishing & Afternoon 4 Hour “Shark” Fishing
Wednesday – 8 Hour “Continental Shelf” Fishing
Thursday – 4 ½ Hour Half Day “Sea Bass” Fishing & 4 Hour “Shark” Fishing
Friday – 4 ½ Hour Half Day “Sea Bass” Fishing & 11 Hour “Gulf Stream” Deep Sea Fishing
Saturday – NO FISHING! We’re celebrating the holiday 🎇
Sunday – NO FISHING! We need a day off to recuperate from the holiday.
All trips are available weather permitting! Our Head Boat trips are always a great option for newbies and seasoned anglers alike. All trips provide everything needed to fish, rod, reel, bait, tackle, and licensing are included, and fishing cleaning services are available. Summer fishing trips are among the most popular activities at Crazy Sister Marina, advance reservations are always highly recommended.

From pontoon rentals for a larger group to Carolina skiffs to sneak into the creeks, there’s a boat for everyone. Pontoons are perfect for sightseeing, relaxing, anchoring up at the beach to get out and swim. It’s a great comfortable option for the family! Skiffs give you the freedom to discover areas that larger boats can’t reach. Great for fishing, we can rent you gear with the rental to get out and enjoy a true Lowcountry adventure.

Kayak Rentals
Kayak rentals provide an up-close look at Murrells Inlet’s incredible ecosystem.
Crazy Sister Marina offers kayak rentals or guided tours! You can rent and take the trip yourself at your own pace or go out with one of our guides to get more information on the area you’re paddling through. Keep your eyes open for local wildlife, including herons, egrets, fish, and more, you never know! Kayaking offers one of the most immersive ways to experience the natural beauty of the South Carolina coast.

Join us for Dolphin sight-seeing this week!
Our crew offers an unforgettable experience that is perfect for all groups and ages. This family-friendly cruise takes you through the inlet to the ocean on the search for local wildlife! We offer activities during the daytime, and a sunset cruise option. While cruising, our mates will teach you about the area and local marine life that call the area home. Our live onboard touch tank gives everyone a chance to get up close and personal with the possibility of local critters like crabs, starfish, jellyfish, pufferfish, sea urchins, and more! The touch tank is never the same from one cruise to the next, so you never know who you’ll get to meet! Once in the ocean, we will search for dolphins as we travel along the coast, so keep your eyes and ears open, you never know where they’ll pop up out of or what other creature you might see floating along nearby. After our time in the ocean, we’ll head back into the inlet to return to the dock, you can sit back, relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery!

Set Sail on a Pirate Adventure for a more Kid-centric water activity!
The Children’s Pirate Adventure has been a long standing Murrells Inlet favorite among visiting tourists and local families alike! Young pirates will enjoy an interactive experience complete with face-painting, pirate training, water cannon battles, and plenty of excitement.
Parents get to sit back and relax in the shade of the boat and watch the kiddos’ imaginations come alive, the whole family will leave with stories to talk about long after the trip ends.

Celebrate the 4th of July with us this week!
The 4th of July and days surrounding it are some of the busiest days you will witness in the Murrells Inlet area! Spirits are high celebrating the independence of our country, from a boat parade sailing through the inlet, to an evening firework show, there’s a lot of fun going on to celebrate!
Crazy Sister Marina offers evening 4th of July Fireworks cruises! Our Inlet Fireworks Cruise is already SOLD OUT! However, as of right now, our Ocean Fireworks Cruise still has seating available. This cruise leaves the inlet, out into the ocean on a journey up the coastline towards Garden City Beach Pier and Myrtle Beach to view all the fireworks people are letting off from the beach, then returning to the inlet to sit and watch the Murrells Inlet 2020 fireworks display firing off from the Veterans Pier.
