Q: Will I get seasick?
A: It is always a possibility. If you’re afraid you may become seasick, we suggest taking a motion sickness medicine the night before and another dose the morning of with a light breakfast or try using an alternative like a seasickness patch or wristbands. We’d rather you be safe than see anyone fall ill and miss out on all of the fun!
Q: Is this trip good for all ages? Is it good for kids?
A: Yes, absolutely! It is perfect for anyone and everyone from first time anglers to the highly experienced. Kids absolutely love this trip too- but let’s be honest, who wouldn’t love reeling in a shark?!
Q: Can I still see land on this trip?
A: Yes. This trip travels 3-5 miles offshore. You don’t lose sight of land until you get 10- 12 nautical miles offshore so no worries there.
Q: Why do families love this trip?
A: It is perfect for kids and beginner anglers, our professional crew are there to help and provide instruction before and during the trip, and it is on a safe, comfortable USCG inspected boat with restrooms and a snack bar onboard.
Q: Do I need to bring anything?
A: No, everything you need is provided in the cost of your ticket but you’re welcome to bring a small, soft-sided cooler or book bag for drinks and snacks- just no glass or alcohol please. Sunscreen and sunglasses are also suggested for a great time.
Q: Will I definitely catch a shark?
A: We can’t guarantee you will catch a shark as they’re wild animals but with our experienced captain and crew, we can promise you’ll have a great time trying and you may catch some other fish along the way.
Q: What type of sharks do you catch?
A: This trip primarily catches Atlantic Sharpnose Sharks. They are about 2 1/2 to 3 feet in length.
Q: Are there bathrooms on board?
A: Yes! Our boats have two bathrooms on board.
