This 45-minute cruise will include views of the Conway Railroad Trestle Bridge as you cruise down the Waccamaw River listening to festive Christmas music and enjoying optional add-on pecks of fresh steamed oysters prepared right on board.
Please note, cruise tickets and oysters are separate purchases so don’t worry if you want to enjoy the cruise but don’t eat oysters like your awesome friends.

Guests may pre-purchase pecks of steamed oysters singles to enjoy during the cruise. Simply add your oysters when booking and we’ll steam them fresh onboard. A small variety of water, soda, beer, wine and snacks will also be available for purchase on the boat.
🚤 About the Vessel
The Explorer is 54′ USCG passenger vessel, covered with a bathroom and snack canteen onboard featuring a limited variety of soda, water, beer, wine and snacks. This boat is not completely enclosed so please dress comfortably and appropriately for winter weather on the river.

1. How long is the cruise?
The Holiday Oyster Roast Cruise is approximately 45 minutes from start to finish.2. Where do I check in for the cruise?
All cruises should check-in at our trailer under the Main Street Bridge at Second Avenue and Peanut Way, located conveniently between the Peanut Warehouse and Bonfire Taqueria. The boat is docked on the Conway Riverwalk.3. What’s included with my ticket?
Your ticket includes your admission aboard the Explorer for the 45-minute holiday cruise with festive music and scenic river views.Oysters are sold separately as an optional add-on by the peck.
4. How do I add oysters to my experience?
When purchasing your cruise tickets, simply select the number of pecks of oysters you’d like to add. We’ll steam them fresh onboard for you to enjoy during the cruise.5. Can I purchase oysters on board?
Oyster availability is limited. To ensure you receive oysters, we highly recommend selecting your oyster add-on during booking.6. What exactly is a “peck” of oysters?
A peck is a traditional seafood measurement equal to about a quarter bushel of cluster oysters.7. Are there bathrooms on the boat?
Yes. The Explorer has a restroom on board for guest use.8. Is the boat heated?
The Explorer is not heated. Please note that this is an outdoor activity in December. We suggest you dress accordingly for cooler winter weather on the river.9. Is this cruise kid-friendly?
Yes! While the oyster add-on is optional, the festive music, scenic river views, and holiday atmosphere make this a great outing for families.10. Are food or drinks allowed on board?
Outside food and drinks are not permitted. Oysters purchased through us are allowed and will be steamed onboard. We also have a canteen on board that will sell a limited selection of drinks, beer, wine and other snacks.11. Will the cruise still run in bad weather?
We will operate in light rain and cold weather. However, if conditions on the river are unsafe, we may cancel or reschedule. Guests will be contacted if that occurs.12. How early should I arrive?
Please arrive 15–20 minutes before departure to allow time for check-in and boarding.13. Can I get a refund if I can’t make it?
Please refer to our standard cancellation policy for this trip.14. Do I need to bring anything?
We recommend bringing:
A jacket or warm layers
Gloves or a hat on colder days
A small hand towel if you’ll be enjoying oysters
