HALLOWEEN ON THE MARSHWALK

Ghosts, goblins, and ghouls of all ages will fill the Marsh at this year’s annual Halloween on the MarshWalk. The Marshwalk’s longest running and most successful event, Halloween on the MarshWalk brings fun and prizes to the whole family!
Festivities begin at 5pm with Trick-or-Treating along the MarshWalk for the kids. The annual Children’s Costume Contest is at 6pm in front of Drunken Jack’s at the Pirate Statue.
22nd ANNUAL MURRELLS INLET OYSTER ROAST
Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 3 PM
Come out to the Wicked Tuna parking lot and enjoy a great day of fun on the MarshWalk for delicious oysters, live music, cold drinks, and one unforgettable Inlet tradition!
The 22nd Annual Murrells Inlet Oyster Roast is an ongoing staple of the Inlet that you won’t want to miss.
Visitors and locals alike enjoy the scenery, comradery, and plenty of oysters at their disposal.
24th ANNUAL LIP RIPPIN’ CHILYMPICS
Saturday, November 15, 2026, from 11AM to 5PM
The Lip Rippin’ Chilympics returns for its 24th year, bringing together local restaurants, individual cooks, music lovers, families, and community supporters for a flavorful day of competition and celebration. Sample some of the best local chili recipes, vote for your favorite, and help crown the “Best Chili on the Beach 2026.”

Bring the family, a friend, or that special someone and stroll the holiday lights on the MarshWalk. Relax and enjoy the salt air breeze while getting into the holiday spirit- and have a Merry MarshWalk Christmas.
This spectacular Christmas light walk-through experience will feature our eight MarshWalk restaurants’ buildings along the ½ mile boardwalk outlined in an array of Christmas lights paired with stunning arches synced with festive Christmas music in front of each restaurant! Our display includes thousands of lights themed with the best Christmas songs that will be sure to get you in the holiday spirit!
The light show starts at the top and bottom of the hour from 5pm-11pm nightly. Our huge 20′ LED Christmas tree will be featured at the end of Veteran’s pier and will make the perfect backdrop for your holiday photos and is also visible from any restaurant along the MarshWalk!
We will also have many festive photo opportunities spread throughout the MarshWalk for you to stop and pose with along the way including a Candy Cane Arch, a Gingerbread House, Santa, and a giant Christmas Ornament.
MURRELLS INLET CHRISTMAS PARADE

Gather your family, friends, and neighbors for one of the most festive days of the year — the annual Murrells Inlet Christmas Parade!
Enjoy a joyful afternoon filled with holiday music, creative floats, local groups, and plenty of Christmas cheer as the parade makes its way through the heart of the Inlet.
Parade Route: The parade begins at The Beaver Bar and continues down Highway 17 Business to Wachesaw Road.
