90-Minute Interactive Field Study
Turn the ocean into your classroom!
This homeschool-focused marine science cruise combines hands-on learning with real-world wildlife observation. Students will begin with an engaging discussion on dolphin biology and classification, including what makes dolphins mammals and how they survive in coastal habitats.
🌊 Live Marine Learning Experience – Next, they’ll explore our live onboard touch tank to learn about local marine species, adaptations, and ecosystem roles.
🐬 Wildlife Observation Cruise – As we cruise along the coast, students will actively search for Atlantic bottlenose dolphins while observing marine habitats.
🌱 Classification Activity – To wrap up, students will participate in a fun “Plant vs. Animal” classification challenge.
📄 Take-Home Learning – Each student receives a take-home activity sheet to document their field study.
This excursion transforms the ocean into an engaging, hands-on classroom experience for homeschool students!
