Four Fun Summer Events Coming to Myrtle Beach
Spending some time in Myrtle Beach this summer? You’re in for a treat! This breathtaking coastal city is fun in any season, but during the summer, Myrtle Beach truly comes alive. In addition to the regular activities you can enjoy, there are also tons of fun seasonal events throughout the year’s hottest months. Try to check out at least one of these events while you’re in town this summer!
Carolina Country Music Fest 2022
From June 9 through 12, enjoy the Caroline Country Music Fest. This incredible event will host some of the biggest names in country music, including Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Lauren Hall, Tenille Townes, and others. Not only can you see some great performances, but you can also get involved in fun themed nights like Diamonds and Denim on Friday or Wild West on Saturday!
Pelicans Baseball
Enjoy America’s favorite pastime by bringing the family out to a Pelicans baseball game! Our Myrtle Beach home team plays all throughout the summer, so there’s sure to be at least one game going on while you’re in town. Bring out the whole family to enjoy some peanuts and Cracker Jacks as the Pelicans take on rival baseball teams from across the nation. July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza
Celebrating Independence Day with a Myrtle Beach vacation? Don’t miss the July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza! Held at Broadway on the Beach, this event promises to be one you won’t soon forget. All afternoon long, you can explore Broadway on the Beach. Check out all of the restaurants, shops, and other attractions that this area is known for. Then, at 10 p.m., the fireworks show will begin, giving you a spectacular performance over Lake Broadway. This is one celebration you won’t want to miss!
Awesome 80s 5K
If you want to stay active on your trip or if you’re just yearning for the ‘80’s, check out the Awesome 80s 5K happening on Tuesday, July 19 at 6 p.m. It costs just $40 to sign up if you do so before June 30! You can choose to walk or run in this race, so everyone can participate. There’s also an awesome costume contest to see who can channel their inner ‘80’s kid!
