1. Fall festivals
Fall 2021 is ripe with some fun upcoming festivals. From the 2021 Little River Shrimpfest to the Pawleys Island Festival of Music and Art, visitors to Myrtle Beach continue to be delighted by the abundance of unique things to do. And if you are here in early October, be sure to check out the Myrtle Beach Oktoberfest. Oktoberfest includes a pumpkin patch face and pumpkin painting, not to mention hayrides, inflatables, a petting zoo, scarecrow making, and costume contests.
2. Fall fishing
Every year, thousands of anglers flock to the Myrtle Beach area for fishing along the Grand Strand. As the temperatures cool down, certain species of fish are more likely to be caught. Thompson Farm and Nursery at Brickyard Plantation tends to be a Myrtle Beach area favorite offering a corn maze, pumpkin patch, petting zoo, playground, etc. Kids also love to drag their parents to one of the many farmers’ markets managed by Waccamaw Market Cooperative that continues to operate throughout October.
